With Philips Field App, employees can alter sensor configuration patterns and select the desired light level of individual lights according to their needs. This is beneficial for example in a conference room where lights closer to the projection wall are to be dimmed or switched off while other lights are to be at higher light levels. The app also has the ability to configure an individual light or a group of lights. The technology provides convenience for employees to personalize light settings for better comfort and improve productivity.
The SpaceWise technology provides a benefit of reducing energy usage, therefore, achieving high savings. Due to the wireless approach, the need to provide a controls design and intent with lighting circuits is not necessary. Sensors communicate virtually through the system. This helps to improve energy savings as there is full light output at occupied workstations and lower background light level at unoccupied workstations.
